Head of Technical Advisory | Senior Design Manager

David founded CDSE Consulting in 2017. He has a strong background in design management on major infrastructure projects and specialises particularly in complex structures, including bridges, gantries, barriers, and retaining walls. David is a leader whose personal vision is to create futures that otherwise never could have existed. This leadership extends to all that David does. David is responsible for setting the strategic planning and direction of the company and ensuring all of the CDSE team are clear on how these are to be achieved and their role in it.

Head of Project Delivery | Senior Project Manager | Engineering Manager

Kumbi is a leader who thrives on the challenges of delivering complex infrastructure works. His strong project management and technical skills, along with his extensive engineering consultancy experience, allows him to provide clear guidance on the best project solutions. His focus is in driving a successful, consistent, and progressive safety culture while delivering value for money outcomes. Kumbi is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of CDSE’s goals, particularly business development, financial robustness, and the general management of the company.

Design Manager | Senior Design Coordinator

Will brings incredible integrity to all he works with, and elevates all systems, processes, and ways of operating to ensure clarity and accountability. Will is responsible for the general administration and documentation within CDSE, as well as all aspects of Human Resourcing, Recruiting and Onboarding of new staff.

Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager

Rebecca is a highly motivated, self-directed and solutions focused health, safety, quality and risk professional with 15+ years’ experience. Rebecca has worked in a diverse range of sectors, including civil and structural construction, infrastructure, tunnelling and rail operations, mining – underground, open cut mining and processing operations. She is passionate about mentoring and developing others, with a focus on safety, mental health and wellbeing.

Project Consultant

Billy has over 20 years’ experience working on complex brownfield infrastructure projects in live operational environments in Victoria. He has meticulous attention to project planning and execution, combined with a collective approach to problem-solving that engages all members of the project team. Billy brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail and tenacity to ensure successful project completion. He brings a strong focus on safety, heightened by extensive experience working in operational railways, roads and freeways.

Utilities Manager | Utilities Engineer | Project Engineer

Marcos is CDSE’s Lead Utilities Specialist. Marcos assists our clients to find the most efficient solutions to their challenges through his experience and ongoing relationships with utility service providers. Marcos’ personal vision is to create a world where collaboration, camaraderie, personal accountability, and respect to all individuals are the rule and not the exception. In both his business and personal life, Marcos looks to create exceptional value co-creation and enhance the community’s wellbeing.

Senior Traffic Engineer

Yvonne is a proficient engineer with more than eleven years’ combined work experience in construction, consulting, and project management. Through this work, Yvonne has gained valuable experience in stakeholder engagement, sub-contractor management, risk assessments, traffic management, traffic planning, generation and distribution, car parking and service vehicle provisions, intersection analysis, including SIDRA analysis as well as AutoTRACK and AutoCAD programs.

Senior Project Engineer

Felix brings over 15 years of experience and extensive knowledge in the successful delivery of both civil works and structures. He has contributed to projects across Australia and enjoys the variety of challenges that come with each project, be it rail, renewables, resources or roads. Felix is passionate about creating a work environment that encourages creativity and produces innovative solutions.

Senior Project Engineer

Sachini has 10 years of industry experience in major road, rail, mining, and building projects, including freeway and airport upgrades, level crossing removal projects and
Department of Defence infrastructure projects. Sachini’s management skillset for end-to-end projects includes project set up, onsite safety, cost control and forecasting, planning and programming works, plant, material and subcontractor procurement, and quality control.
She has extensive experience and knowledge across civil construction, coupled with a confident attitude and a determination to bring positive change and success to
key projects in a team environment.

Project Engineer

James brings seven years’ experience from various roles in the delivery of commercial, water, and roads projects in Victoria. He has developed good civil and structural construction skills, along with experience in quality, commercial, and design coordination roles. James brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn to his work. He strongly values the importance of working collaboratively, helping others to learn and develop, operating with integrity, and communicating effectively.

Project Engineer | Mechanical Engineer

Michael is a respected leader and team player who is people- and results-focused. Known for his larger than life character, Michael brings a focus of health, wellbeing, and humour to the company. Innovation and lateral thinking are key motivators for Michael with a strong interest in eliminating waste and improving processes.
As a multidisciplinary engineer, Michael has worked in a variety of large-scale construction, manufacturing, and defence projects in the automotive, ship building and mechanical engineering industries. He has also supported the Combat Support Vehicle System Program Office (CSVSPO) for defence and was recently involved as a Project Coordinator for Victoria’s largest civil infrastructure project.

Civil Engineer | Structural Engineer

Geoff is an experienced civil and structural engineer, having worked in construction and design coordination roles on major road, rail, and tunnel projects in Victoria and Western Australia. He has worked in both subcontractor and head contractor roles. Geoff is an excellent communicator with a strong work ethic, and is focused on fostering positive team experiences and culture. He prides himself on building good relationships across project teams, clients, and stakeholders, to effectively deliver projects.
